A story of compassion transformed into purpose.
Founded over seven years ago by two determined community leaders, Wandile Zondi and Themba Mnguni, our journey began not in the quiet halls of a funeral parlor, but on the busy streets of our township where struggle, hope, and resilience live side by side.
Wandile and Themba first made their mark through the creation of Siyanakela Skills Development, a program dedicated to empowering youth and addressing unemployment through practical training and mentorship. As they worked closely with families, they witnessed firsthand the emotional and financial strain that comes with the loss of a loved one. It was in these deeply human moments — where grief met need — that the idea for Boulevard Funerals was born.
They envisioned a space where families would not only be served with dignity, but embraced with understanding. A place that upheld tradition, honored spirit, and made farewells meaningful and beautiful, regardless of economic background. Boulevard Funerals emerged as more than just a business — it became a promise to their community: that no one would face loss alone, and that every life would be celebrated with respect and love.
Today, Boulevard Funerals stands as a trusted name in the funeral industry, combining heartfelt service with professional excellence. We are here to support you every step of the way — from the moment you call, to the final resting moment, and beyond. With us, it's not just about the funeral; it's about legacy, family, and remembrance.
